Hey there, bookworm! We know you're excited to receive your LitLoot book box, so let's dive into all the juicy details about shipping and returns and some general info.
At the checkout... Please select your shipping based on which carrier you would like. I highly recommend Aus Post as they have been the only carrier who have consistently delivered on time.
Allergies
Please let us know if you have any allergies. You can add this information at the comment section available at the checkout. If you are unable to add it there, please send me an email and I will add a note to your file.
When do we ship?
We ship out our magical book boxes every Thursday afternoon, however some weeks I receive more orders than usual and it can take me a little time to curate each book/blind date, so your box may not be shipped until the following week. I also have to order in specific titles, especially for the subscription boxes, this can often cause order delays that are outside of my control. If you have not received your shipment notification within 7 business days please reach out and I can let you now how far away your order is.
How do you get shipping information?
Once you place your order, we'll hook you up with a tracking number. We'll also send you email updates along the way, so you'll always be in the loop. No need to worry about your precious loot getting lost in the mail!
What if your parcel doesn't come?
Oh no! If your parcel decides to go on an unexpected adventure without you, just reach out to us. We'll put on our detective hats and track it down for you. We won't rest until your loot is safely in your hands.
Pricing Transparency
Our pricing reflects the true cost of creating and delivering each carefully curated order.
This includes not only the items inside each box, but also quality packaging, postage, protective materials, website and payment fees, and the time and care that goes into sourcing, packing and sending every order.
As costs continue to rise, occasional price adjustments are necessary to ensure we can continue offering the same level of quality, service and attention to detail that our customers expect and love.

Blind Date Box FAQs
Can I choose the puzzle or book?
To keep the magic of a blind date alive, all items are selected at random. Each box is thoughtfully curated to suit the theme, but specific titles or designs can’t be chosen.
Are Blind Date boxes refundable?
Due to the curated and surprise nature of our Blind Date boxes, these items are non-refundable.
Can I add my Amazon wish list?
Amazon wish lists are not supported for Blind Date products. These boxes are designed as a surprise experience rather than a custom selection.
What if you don't like the look of some of the items?
We totally get it. Sometimes you have specific preferences, and that's cool with us. At checkout, you'll find a comment box where you can let us know your preferences for the items in your loot box. We'll do our absolute best to accommodate you and make sure you're thrilled with every item you receive.
Returns and Damages?
Returns & Exchanges Policy
We hope you love your order! If something isn't right, here's what you need to know:
📦 Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged, we’ll replace it free of charge.
To qualify:

Contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Provide photographic proof of the damage.
Once confirmed, we’ll send a replacement at no extra cost.
🔄 Already-Owned Books
Already have the book you received?
We’re happy to offer an exchange under the following conditions:

The book must be returned in the same condition it was received.

Customers cover the return shipping cost.

A replacement will be sent after we’ve received and inspected the returned book.
🚫 Non-Returnable Items
Some items are not eligible for return or exchange:

Blind Date Books: These are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged (proof of damage required).

Cosy Book Box: Our book boxes contain randomly selected titles. These are not eligible for refund or exchange due to duplicates or personal preferences.

Also if your lovely LitLoot box has somehow been damaged, please contact me asap. I photograph every order the day it ships and make sure all items are in excellent condition. If anything you have purchased breaks ( eg: the zip on our mini bags) Please let me know, send a picture of the damaged item and I will replace it.
